Each year Art House Convergence offers initiatives and scholarships to improve access to the conference’s educational, networking, and professionalization opportunities. These programs are intended to cultivate diverse leadership, support first-time attendees,  and strengthen the conference and the organizations it serves by making them more inclusive.

Emerging Leadership Initiative

To support independent cinemas’ visionaries of tomorrow, Art House Convergence is pleased to invite emerging leaders, thinkers, and creatives to apply to attend the 2019 Conference at a discounted registration rate of $450.

We want to hear from house managers, front of house staff, projectionists, part-time employees, coordinators, and assistants who have big ideas about the future of film exhibition. People who are passionate about mission-driven cinema, have never attended the Conference before, or are in the first five years of their career are strongly encouraged to apply.

Share your ideas about social justice, equity, collaboration, technology, and new ways of working.

The number of Emerging Leadership registrations are limited, submitting an application does not guarantee being selected for the Emerging Leadership program. If we are unable to offer you this registration we encourage you to attend the conference at the Early Bird Rate.
